Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 20, from 3-5 p.m. for our first 2024 Knox Dems work session!

This work session will give district chairs, precinct chairs and members of the party a chance to commune and share best practices for canvassing—our best shot at turning out Democratic voters in August and November!

District 5 Co-Chair Charles Chandler will share his district's formula for door-knocking success. The Communications Committee—which is coordinating this event—will also share best practices for public relations, including a rundown on Mobilize, an app the party has adopted that can help us grow our party and volunteer list if used properly. 

The Communications Committee is also developing packets of information that we hope will support you in your canvassing and outreach efforts, including talking points on top platform issues. 

Please note for your navigation plans that April 20 is the first day of the Rossini Festival downtown. We hope that party members will consider joining our Democratic District 8 County Commission candidate Charles Chandler Sr. at his kickoff party following the work session.

Bring a laptop or notepad/pen or pencil. We will provide light snacks and drinks.

While we do plan to take a video of the event to share with those who cannot attend, you will get the most out of the work session if you attend in person.
